Andrew Whitson
CPAAndrew is a registered tax agent and member of CPA Australia.
Having over 30 years of experience in private practice Andrew brings his extensive experience to your tax and accounting problems.
In his spare time Andrew relaxes with family and when he gets permission, he can be found on a golf course trying to sharpen his game.
FOUNDER
Stephen Medcraft
DipBus, DipFinPlan, FMIAFP, CFP, FTIAStephen is a registered tax agent who brings his over 40 years of experience to his clients.
The founder of Taxlink Point Cook - Stephen has merged with Whitson and Associates to create Whitson Medcraft and Associates.
On the weekend Stephen can be found at the golf course where he is a member at the same club Andrew Whitson is.
MANAGING PRINCIPAL
Jahnvi Modi
CA (CAANZ), CA (ICAI), M.Com, B.ComWith over 20 years’ experience as a Chartered Accountant in public practice, including over 15 years of senior roles at Australian firms; Jahnvi’s professional background has included working with medium and large businesses, business owners and high net-worth individuals.
Jahnvi’s role at Whitson Medcraft & Associates is to provide certainty and peace of mind to her clients in relation to their business, superannuation, retirement and estate matters; with a focus on inter-generational wealth transfer, business succession and asset protection. Jahnvi works closely with her clients’ network of advisors including property advisors/lawyers, mortgage consultants, insurance consultants, estate lawyers and financial planners to ensure that the current business strategy, succession plan and estate plan aligns with her client’s personal and financial objectives.
Jahnvi has presented to CPA discussion groups on various topics in relation to estate planning and superannuation death benefit strategies. Jahnvi believes in collaboration and providing clarity to her clients and runs client discovery sessions on various technical and non technical topics.
Jahnvi has a passion for yoga, travelling, hiking and folk dancing. On the weekend Jahnvi either will be found using the skills gained in her diploma of Yoga and Meditation and spending time with her young family.
PRINCIPAL
Trent Medcraft
DFP, BBus, FIPATrent brings his decades of experience in Taxlink to your tax concerns. He is a registered SMSF auditor.
As one half of the father/son team at Taxlink he joins us with the merger.
Trent is not only an excellent accountant and a harness racing trainer in his spare time but he is also studying teaching to give back to the next generation.
ACCOUNTANT
Janice Lim
MBIT, B.ComJanice has a Master of Business Information Technology, a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma of Business.
In addition to her tax skills, Janice has in company experience managing the books as well as audit and assurance experience with Ford and Ernst & Young.
On the weekend Janice can be found playing sports with friends, she self admits she's "not that good" but she has fun.
ACCOUNTANT
Richa Karki
BBA, MPARicha has a Master of Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration.
With experience in leadership, insurance, banking and business in addition to her accounting skills Richa brings a warm, friendly and capable style to the table.
She is an avid gym goer who has set herself a number of physical challenges in recent years including distance running and strength & conditioning.
